An American conflict is undoubtedly on the horizon. As a young Marine, they tell you the USMC finds itself in combat every ten years or so. We stopped serious combat operations in the Middle East around 2014. Our time is up. While it may not be World War 3, war is a certainty. Here is my wild speculation of what major conflict is around the corner.
Global Unrest Signals World War 3
Based on today’s headlines, one would think World War 3 is ready to break out at any moment, and it’s certainly a possibility. Our world is on fire. Russia invaded Ukraine; Israel is about to invade the Gaza Strip, and Iran and the U.S. are threatening to get involved; and all of this chaos increases the chances of China invading Taiwan.
But there’s an important factor commonly overlooked. Every major Western country is experiencing civil unrest, and their leaders know it. They know that their countries could not handle the train of a major peer-to-peer conflict when they are on the brink of destruction during peace. Western leaders know the West will likely lose World War 3, so they won’t be eager to escalate further into one.
Mass Civil Unrest
The West is experiencing this kinetic period of history while enduring mass populist unrest at home, fueled by mass immigration and people challenging the ruling and established political system, much like the Age of Revolutions highlighted by the French Revolution in 1789. However, instead of challenging the dominion and divine right of monarchial rule, Western societies are now beginning to challenge leftist globalist elites. Consequently, I think our conflict tomorrow will resemble our ancestors’ conflict yesterday.

History Repeats Itself
The American War for Independence ignited the Age of Revolution that sent Europe spiraling into fire and turmoil. I believe something similar will happen again, and it will either begin in the U.S., Canada, Netherlands, or UK.
United States
The America First movement is revolutionary in its own right because it challenges the governing status quo that ruled America since the assassination of JFK in 1963. It’s anti-big government, anti-establishment, anti-globalist, isolationist, and conservative.
The U.S. is undoubtedly divided, and the chances of a secession or independence movement, particularly in the American South, are the highest it’s been since 1861. Since the resistance movement is conservative at heart, I believe an independence movement will surface in the U.S. rather than a revolution. Southern conservatives would rather break apart than dictate how their Northern cousins are governed.
Will it be peaceful? Possibly, but not likely. The South is the most populous and fastest-growing region of the country. It’s powerful and rich in both resources and dollars, and the establishment will likely not give it up without a fight.
Canada
I included Canada in the list because that’s where liberal authoritarianism is gaining massive momentum with comparatively little citizen pushback, and quite frankly, I don’t understand how there isn’t a revolution in Canada right now.
The infamous Canadian trucker convoy in 2022 is a prime example. It was a peaceful protest against government-mandated vaccines, and the protesters took donations from like-minded Canadians across the country. The Canadian government collaborated with banks to freeze those Canadian bank accounts.
The situation in Canada is only getting worse. As of 10/21/2023, the Canadian government has passed a piece of authoritarian legislation, Bill C-11, which is nothing but censorship masqueraded as patriotism. (Sound familiar, Americans?). Canadian government gatekeepers will now have the power to control which videos, posts, and other content Canadians can see online.
On top of tyrannical policies, Canadians are experiencing unprecedented levels of immigrants from non-western countries. Radical shifts in national demographics always lead to wars. Always.
Netherlands
Dutch farmers started protesting in 2019, and they haven’t stopped since. They enjoy wide support from the Dutch population and local officials. have been protesting every couple of months now, and it began with Dutch farmers protesting its government over harmful policies they justified by climate change.
United Kingdom
The UK is seemingly as divided as the U.S., undergoing radical and rapid demographic changes, and it recently removed itself from the European Union. Could the divorce from the EU spark an odd man out conflict in Europe similar to the Napoleonic Wars?

A Spark is All That’s Needed
Wherever the next shot heard around the world is fired, the spark will ignite a flame, and its embers will jump the Atlantic, cleansing both continents of tyranny through the fires of revolution and rebellion.
However optimistic my prediction may be, one thing is for certain; we are approaching a historical gateway, and it will be violent and bloody. The establishment has consistently proven to us that they’re our enemies, and I’d much rather fight them than fight another war for them and sacrifice more Southern sons to a vampiric regime that hates us.
